Becky, who is an absolutely wonderful customer of mine, wanted this small DIY done to her table. We started with this "Y base" coffee table from west elm. Our goal: To up date the legs to gold to match the brass in her living room.
So the process began. We turned the table over removed the screws to paint the legs; BTW Liam and Ethan were OBSESSED with her cats. I wish I took video it was darling.

and got busy!
We simply attached them back on!

In the next few weeks stay tuned for the make over we did on Becky's faux bamboo console in oil based grey. The turn out is JUST fabulous.

ReplyDeleteI've got two babies under 19 months (not quite the same as your two at one time) but still has me jacked up on coffee this morning so sorry for the novel! But, I adore this post. I was already clicking on your blog this morning to tell you I found you yesterday and think you rock and then here you go with another awesome share. You have amazeballs taste and I admire your courage to tackle these projects and transform things. I'm struggling with that but getting better all the time. I recently painted over 3 canvases I never really loved for my son's room and can't believe I waited so long! After stalking your whole blog last night I got out some leftover paint and started on a table I've had forever and haven't liked in years. I think it's going to be my new favorite...thanks to you.
