I just finished a high gloss white faux bamboo coffee table for the shop and will be for sale at The Modern Cottage this Saturday. Unfortunately I won't be able to get on the Internet for a few days because the charger cord for my computer split. So please excuse the radio silence! For more pictures click here.

I have been so excited about the out come of these chairs because the pattern is a high quality and only alternative, to David Hicks La Fiorentina pattern. I cannot wait to order more of this fabric. If you're just tuning in this is very durable high gloss paint with fabric from spoonflower.com designed by the wonderful blogger Dina from Honey + Fitz.
... and styled with a sun burst...
They will be available at the shop this Saturday
The Modern Cottage
311 S. 7th
Downtown Tacoma, WA
$180 for the set
Do you dig them? ... I know I do.

Some instagram love. This is a peek at a project I'm finishing up using that knock off David Hicks fabric I got from Spoon Flower, I tooooold you the size of the print was perfection. I give this fabric two thumbs up, in fact I can't wait to order more. These pair of chairs are in a high gloss white paint.
And a DIY: My mom gave me white old rusty white umbrella stand. I sprayed it using a texturized black/charcoal paint. The durability of this stuff is awesome too!
Now it looks brand new!!

You may recognize these photo's. The dining room of Grant K. Gibson. This is by far my absolutely most favorite dining room creation. The color palate is fairly daring but, over all the finish product is remarkably easy on the eye. This here is a great article on the home.
Oh, and just a few photo's from his blog to reel you in! ;)

Last week I stopped in to Pacific Galleries in Seattle. It's basically decor heaven.
EVVVERYONE told me to go for the longest time and I finally did. It's truly the most incredible place, I've found so far to shop for vintage finds. Here are some photo's for your viewing pleasure.
