My friend Esther recycled and repurposed this iron based table in a high gloss bright orange and don't you agree it turned out so lovely! I would never of dared to try such a bright color but, with the palate she has going on it really turned out to be absolutely stunning. There is so much garbage that gets thrown away everyday and I always love when people take on projects like this to recycle. These days none of the new furniture will last you 10 years.. This is such a good example of sustainable material. Material used like this for a table these days (anthropologie *cough*) would cost $1000+. Esther purchased this table from a local Goodwill in Tacoma for six dollars. She spent another six dollars on orange paint at Home Depot by rustoleum. For the makeover she got on the table I think $12 was worth every penny.
